Owners, Holly & Ken Singh have many years of restaurant experience. Ken, originally from India, comes from a small village in the Punjab known as Thandian, his passion for cooking is evident in the recipes he has perfected for his patrons. Thandi’s opened their doors at 33 Canterbury in May of 2006. The original building was constructed in 1878 after the Great Saint John Fire. In its early days it housed a printing press, namely, Lingley Printing and became an antique store in the mid 1900’s. In 1994 it was purchased by the Singh Dining Group.
